Directions to the Military History Museum
From North (Pretoria) side:
On M1S pass 11th Ave / Ivy Rd turnoff
Take Riviera Road exit
Turn right (West) from exit, into Riviera road
Follow road to end, where it makes a T-junction at museum entrance
If you miss the Riviera Rd turnoff, take St Andrews
Turn Right (West) into St. Andrews
Cross the freeway and turn Right (North) into Jan Smuts
Follow directions as if coming from South
From South of Joburg:
Get onto the M1N
Pass Empire Rd turnoff
Take Jan Smuts turnoff
From turnoff, take Left (North) into Jan Smuts
Turn Right (East) at 2nd traffic lights, into Upper Park Drive
Follow this as it arcs left.
Entrance to museum on left, where Upper Park Drive intersects from Right
If you miss the Jan Smuts turnoff, take Oxford Road.
Follow Oxford until intersection with Eastwold / Riviera
Turn left into Eastwold, drive straight to museum
From East of Joburg:
Take M2W
Peel off onto M1N
Follow directions as if coming from South
From West of Joburg:
Take Main Reef Road eastwards, get onto M2E, peel off to M1N, or
Take Ontdekkers Rd eastwards, get onto M1N at Smit St
Then, follow directions as if coming from South
